ITU Ethics Committees function to ensure that research projects involving questionnaires, surveys, field studies, and experiments that require collecting data and samples from human participants are conducted in accordance with universal ethical principles and laws, with full respect for human rights and freedoms. Therefore, the primary objective is to guarantee that the reviewed research is carried out within the framework of universal research ethics, without adversely affecting the physical and psychological well-being of the participants.
